Our Personal Care​

A personal care plan will be agreed with the service user/ commissioner of care and family as appropriate and may include the following basic tasks:

• Washing and Bathing
• Dressing and undressing
• Mobility and transfers
• Cooking Assistance
• Feeding
• Continence Care
• Shopping
• Outings and Companionship
• Dressing
• Bed Making
• Terminal Care
• Accompany service users to Hospital/Doctor appointments
• Exercise programmes for rehabilitation and development under the instruction of a physiotherapist or occupational therapist
• Administration of prescribed medication both orally and topically/collection

  Therapeutic Activities

    Peoples Choice UK Ltd has a policy of promoting the          maintenance of Service Users’ normal social network        and social activities. The Service User’s Care Plan                includes a facility for recording life history, social                networks and contacts, and preferences for activities        and hobbies in order that the Service User is offered          access to those networks and activities which are                appropriate and desired.
